Paul Noble

Paul Noble is a contemporary artist known for his monumental graphite ode to urban planning: Nobson Newtown. Noble’s meticulous practice includes highly stylised pencil drawings which are both satirical and devotional, and draw from a wide range of sources, including ancient Chinese scrolls, 18th century pornography and brick walls. Paul Noble was shortlisted for the Turner Prize in 2012. 

Collections include Tate Britain (London) and Museum of Modern Art (New York).
