Alikhan Abdollahi

Alikhan Abodollahi is a self-taught artist and handyman, whose once-private bestiary speaks to the histories of destruction and legend.

Abodollahi's imagined creatures - part-human, part-myth - are fashioned from everyday materials, to form an alternative idolatry for present day discourse. A genuine discovery, this understated artmaker has been exhibited exclusively outside Iran by The Museum of Everything at Rotterdam Kunsthal (2016) and Mona (2018).
