The Gallery of Everything has long championed artists and makers from Africa and the African Diaspora. For the tenth anniversary of 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair at Somerset House, the gallery selected four visionary artists whose individual practices speak a personal and private language.

Included in the display were works by Abu Bakarr Mansaray, Seyni Aya Camara, Mamadou Cissé and Johnson Weree: four self-taught image and object makers, whose autonomous practices have won them international acclaim.

The Gallery of Everything presentation included historic sculptures, large-scale drawings and rare examples.
